SCHŌNE is German for Beautiful, Handsome, Excellent... as well as Take Care of and Look After, we chose this word for our brand name because we feel it perfectly encapsulates our ethos. 

We create Beautiful Products of Excellent Quality to Take Care of Ourselves and Others, while Looking After the Environment.

Having gone through some rough patches ourselves and having found relief in aromatherapy, we felt that it was important to share the luxury and benefits of natural fragrance with you.

Our products don't come from a big factory hundreds of miles away, our fragrances are not concocted using harmful and unpronounceable chemicals. We make our products here in the UK, in our studios, by hand, in small batches and use only essential oils for their wonderful fragrance and genuine therapeutic virtues.

We always use clean, sustainable ingredients, and organic and vegan wherever possible. There is no need for petrochemicals, parabens and phthalates. Unless, of course, a company is solely guided by profit and doesn't care about its customers well-being.

We're trying to do things differently, in a way that resonates with us and we hope you will accompany us on our journey.

Essential Oils Fragrances are subtler than synthetic fragrances and while many people like them just like that, others may want a more intense experience. If you love one of our fragrances and want "more of it", we suggest building layers of fragrance in your space by having a reed diffuser, which releases the scent slowly and continuously, by burning the candle in the same scent for a few hours daily, and finally by supercharging the scent with a few spritzes of the matching room mist occasionally.

Since the start of the pandemic, all of our lives have been disrupted and we have faced very challenging times, for this reason, we believe that is important to find time for self-care. Taking even 5 minutes for ourselves and lighting an aromatherapy candle, or surrounding ourselves with scents that enhance our well-being, are relatively simple steps we can take everyday to feel better.


ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS

We have founded SCHŌNE to bring you luxurious natural fragrances while limiting our impact on the planet as much as possible. We aim to be a zero-waste company, we reuse all the containers and packaging we receive with our raw materials and recycle everything else. So, if you receive an order containing bubble wrap for example, be aware that we are reusing something we have received and, please, do the same, and help us save the planet.

All of our products are housed in glass containers, which can be reused over and over again until it's time to recycle them. 

We choose likeminded suppliers whose products are sustainable and have a low carbon footprint, this is why we make our products in UK and prefer sourcing our materials from UK suppliers. We know that we can do more to ensure our products and packaging are environmentally friendly and by buying our products you enable us to do so, thank you.

Our Candles, Reed Diffusers and Room Mists are suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians. 

CRUELTY FREE

None of our products are tested on animals, we test our products in-house (on us, humans!) and only release them after many months of testing to ensure you get the best products possible.
